Sardinia

After a long period of silence (it isn't that easy to find free wifi in Italy), here the latest news about us in...Sardinia!!!! what a beautiful island! We spent 3 weeks there, between rocks and the clear blue sea. And again, some nice surprises were waiting for us. The first one: we met Jeepy and Aurelia "by chance" in Cala Gonone!! (Jeep is a very good friend of us and Nat's colleague at work, and Aurelia is his beautiful fiancée). You can see Jeep on a photo in his baywatch-position.
The second one: we met three very nice persons from Germany at a campside in Masua. You can see them all in our bus. Lisa, Sissi and Annelise, if we pass near your place we come and have a BBQ together! There is another photo of them together with a sardinian family at a big table: Marco, Valentina and Lorenzo, your generosity really touched us! They invited us to a delicious self-made pizza, to amazing spaghettis, to a convivial BBQ with sea-view,to to to, they cared for us like family. They even took us to a guided tour through the mine of Portoflavia. You can see Nat on a picture suffering of a claustrophobic attack...
We also were so lucky to find some very nice local climbers who showed us around and made us discover nice climbingspots, thanks Donatella, Ivan and Igor! The guys have an interesting business, have a look at www.climbingsardinia.com. By the way, Igor is a very good "distroyed climbingshoes-repairer", so if you plan to come to Sardinia, take your old shoes with you, contact Igor, and you go back with better than new ones!

Slowenien mit team extreme

Nach diesen interessanten Begegnungen in Kroatien ging es für uns auf in ein neues Abenteuer: 1 Woche Klettern in Osp/Slowenien mit teamextreme (für nähere Infos:www.srsteamextreme.de), was für ein Spass! Dieses Jahr waren wir 15, 2 Leute aus Ungarn und der ganze Rest aus Deutschland.

Und so sah ein Tagesablauf ungefähr aus: morgens 8h30 Frühstück, gefolgt von einem kleinen geistlichen Beitrag und dann ab an den Fels bis ca. 20h, danach gemeinsam Kochen, Essen und Chillen. Am Fels haben die einen in der Hängematte gehangen (eigentlich immer nur einer...), und die anderen geklettert und gesichert.
Dani hat sich am Finger verletzt und konnte deshalb leider nicht so aktiv sein. Zumindest nicht am Fels. Er hat jedoch eine Weg gefunden, seine überschüssige Energie loszuwerden... Er gründete, zusammen mit Flo eine absolut fantastische Zweimannband mit Namen Jim Bikini (Flo alias Bikini an der Gitarre, Dani alias Jim an der Djembe, die wir übrigens seit Oktober nur für dieses Event mitschleppen). Ihre Latest Hits waren Awatchyouway, Zackig zackig mach dich nackig, Rasta Man, Nothing Box, Scheisse Shy (mit Ellie alias Jim Trikini) und zu guter letzt My finger is broken, der uns heute noch die Tränen in die Augen treibt.

An unserem Ruhetag sind wir durch's Dragonjatal gewandert und durften dort hautnah slowenische Gastfreundschaft erleben: In einem Dorf kamen wir mit einem Mann in's Gespräch und bekamen Kuchen, Kartoffeln und ein Ei, im nächsten Dorf liefen wir einem alten Ehepaar über den Weg und wurden prompt zum Kaffee eingeladen. Einfach so. Das war schön.
