Norway with Chris
We're now in Norway since 12 days, and Chris just left us. Here a little resume of our adventures:
We started in the port of Larvig and were heading northeast to Hardangervidda, a wild and amazing natural park. On our way we saw nice churches, strange sheeps that don't move from the road even if you act as if you were bumping into them and, of course, a lot of breathtaking sceneries.
We spent 3 days hiking and fishing in the nationalpark of Hardangervidda (the biggest montain plateau in Europe!), drinking fresh water from the rivers and listening to the incredible silence of this wild nature.
We ascended the Gausta, an almost 1900m-mountain which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in southern Norway, with amazing views over lakes and montaines.
Our next stop, Kjerag, a vertiginous hiking trip... Here we met a very nice belgium couple on their honeymoon. We spent some nice time together and they even borrowed us their kajak for a try on a clear blue lake.
And last but not least, we went to crowded Pulpit Rock, one of the main attractions in southern Norway, but if you go there in the late afternoon, you avoid the big mass of tourists pressing onto the mountain to find this:
And after so many unsuccessful trials to catch fishes during the last 10 days, Chris did it on the 11th day: 6 tasty trouts refined our almost last supper together. Yummy!!!
Chris, we spent a nice time with you!!!
